I’lll give it to you straight - I love biscuits. I’m not sure when or where it happened that biscuits became my all time favorite food, but they did and they are. I need to make sure you understand, by favorite I’m talking desert island, this is the only food I can eat for the rest of my life, favorite.
But for me to be a happy camper, they can’t just be any biscuits. Therefore, I have become a biscuit Connoisseur of sorts - I’m constantly seeking the best possible blend of buttery, yeasty warm and fresh biscuit pleasure. It started back in my hometown of Philadelphia, but life serendipitously moved me to Nashville - and this town makes some great biscuits.
Here’s my invitation to journey with me as I continuously search for the perfect biscuit. Along the way, I’ll share my insights on all the things that good biscuits tend to come with - good bacons and sausages, delicate jams and creme’, perfect mimosas, coffees and all the best brunch offerings in my new city. Join in, speak up - if you love or loathe something or if you know where I should journey next.
This should be a place you can rely on - whether you have friends coming to visit or if it is you who are the new kid in town. You’re never lost on what you should do or where you should go next - anytime is good for brunch.
when you are looking for the best brunch near you [because, let’s face it, we don’t do breakfast anymore, we brunch] but you aren’t sure if mimosas are included or not with that chicken biscuit, this is where you land.
This blog‘O’brunch gives you the info you need.
- what can i expect to pay?
- what are the drink specials, and are they worth it?
- how are the biscuits?
- how pretentious are the usuals, on a scale of chill to “did i just end up in Green Hills through a overpriced wormhole?”
I’m ready to get started if you are!
Eat well, drink well, brunch well, in Nashville.
